Sentinel Biosystems

The manufacturing platform for safer, smarter, allergen-free food.

A next-generation food manufacturer purpose-built around AI, robotics, and clean processes — for our own brands and for partners who share the standard.

Who We Are

A food manufacturer engineered for the next era of nutrition

Sentinel Biosystems is building the production backbone for vegan, allergen-free food at institutional scale — combining the rigor of biotech, the speed of robotics, and the responsibility of mission-driven business.

We don't just make safer food. We build the systems that make safer food economically viable, reliably scalable, and accessible to schools, hospitals, retailers, and families across the country.

Capabilities

Manufacturing built like a biotech platform

Our facilities combine the precision of advanced automation with food-safety standards designed for the institutions we serve.

Sentinel Biosystems shield logo
The Sentinel Biosystems mark — a shield, a sentinel, and a hand cradling a sprout — represents our standard: protect what enters the food supply, and protect every family who eats it.

AI-Powered Quality Control

Computer-vision inspection on every line catches contamination, defects, and inconsistencies in real time.

Robotic Production Lines

Stainless-steel conveyors, sealed handling, robotic transfer, and packaging automation reduce human-touch points across large-scale food production.

Allergen-Engineered Facilities

Plants designed and validated to exclude the top 15 allergens — not retrofitted around them.

Co-Manufacturing for Mission-Aligned Brands

We produce for our own brands and for partners building cleaner, more inclusive products.

End-to-End Traceability

From ingredient sourcing to finished case, every batch is logged, auditable, and transparent.

Institutional-Grade Safety

Designed to meet the rigor required by school districts, healthcare systems, and regulators.

Product Pipeline

Future product categories we're building toward

From everyday snacks to institutional nutrition, our pipeline serves families, schools, hospitals, and partner brands.

Farm to Facility

Farmer straight to us. No middlemen. American-made.

Every middleman is a place where transparency, safety, and farmer income can leak out. We designed our model to remove them.

Farmer to us. No middlemen.

We source ingredients directly from American farmers — no brokers, no consolidators, no opaque supply chains. Fewer hands means safer food, better margins for growers, and full traceability for the families we serve.

We grow our own hempseed.

Hempseed is our primary plant protein. Cultivating it on-site (and with partner farms) lets us control allergen exposure, soil practices, and quality from seed to finished product.

One vertically-integrated facility.

Growing, milling, manufacturing, packaging, and engineering under one roof. That's how we keep food safe, jobs local, and the cost of clean nutrition within reach for schools and families.

Why hemp

Hemp was an American powerhouse — and it can be again.

Hempseed is our primary source of plant protein, but the same crop produces materials, fuel, packaging, and natural pest control. It's one of the highest-leverage re-investments America can make in its own land.

Food & nutrition

Hempseed protein is the backbone of our food line — complete amino acid profile, free from the top allergens by design.

Organic bug repellent

Hemp naturally deters many pests. Compounds derived from the plant give farmers a non-toxic alternative to synthetic pesticides.

Dramatically less water

Hemp typically needs a fraction of the water that cotton and many row crops require — a major win for drought-stressed regions.

Bioplastics & materials

Hemp fiber and hurd feed packaging, building materials, textiles, and bio-composites — replacing petroleum-based inputs.

A note on history

Hemp built rope, sails, paper, and textiles for early America. Reinvesting in domestic hemp isn't a trend — it's restoring an industry that already worked, with modern science and food-safety standards layered on top.

Powered on-site

Solar, wind, and hemp biomass — our facility powers itself.

A modern food facility shouldn't have a 20th-century energy bill. We're designing for renewable generation built into the site from day one.

Solar arrays

Rooftop and parcel-edge solar to power processing, refrigeration, and lighting during peak production hours.

On-site wind

Wind turbines sized for the facility footprint to offload nighttime and seasonal demand from the grid.

Hemp biomass energy

Hemp biomass and processing byproducts can feed combined-heat-and-power systems — closing the loop on what we grow.

Engineering, jobs & policy

An engineering-led facility that brings real jobs to real towns.

The same building that grows and produces our food also designs the machines that make it possible — and we're inviting government partners to help scale this model nationally.

American jobs, on-site

Farming, processing, food safety, packaging, logistics, maintenance, and skilled engineering — full-time roles built around the facility.

In-house engineering

Our engineering wing designs and maintains the automation, robotics, and food-safety systems that make safer food affordable at scale.

Government & policy partners

We're actively seeking conversations with federal, state, and local leaders on agriculture, public health, school nutrition, energy, and rural workforce development.

Re-investing in America — by design.

Direct-sourced ingredients. On-site hemp cultivation. Renewable energy. In-house engineering. American jobs. Government partnership. None of these pieces are accessories — they're the architecture of how we build a safer, more resilient food system from the ground up.

Building with robotics, AI, packaging, or food-tech?

We're actively seeking strategic partners helping us scale the next generation of safe, inclusive food manufacturing.
